9-12-2007 Be sure to STUDY well for the test on Monday. I posted the HW for 3.1 and 3.2 for extra practice. Remember what I said to focus on in class for one question on the test (i.e. use the limit definition of derivative to differentiate f ( x ) = 3 / x and use this to find the equation of the tangent line to the graph at x = 3 ). If you can do this confidently by yourself without looking at your notes, you will be prepared for this type of question on the test. Also, be sure to check out the Previous Tests link to see what my tests in the past have looked like. I will be in my office before class on Monday to answer any last minute questions. We haven't quite finished section 3.2 yet. Anything in 3.2 that we have not covered will not be on the test. We will finish 3.2 on Wednesday, September 19.
