Enjoyable Problems?

It may not seem like every common learning experience begins with a problem.

"I just like basketball & want to learn more about it."

Honestly, though, there is usually some underlying problem that creates the desire, that makes you want to learn.

"Others are more skilled than I am."

& it's funny, but I think this answers the question of whether a person enjoys a topic before learning about it or not . . .

If someone already thinks the topic is important or valuable (if we already enjoy it, like basketball or fishing), then that enjoyment creates the desire to learn.

If someone begins with a problem to solve (like Tito), then the enjoyment may not come until the learning begins. The need to solve the problem & the discovery of possible solutions create the desire (the "AH-HA!" or "Eureka!" moment of learning).

This is important because the value, or importance of learning creates our desire. Without desire, we do not put effort into learning. Without desire, topics become "boring."
