Value and Desire |
|
A second point is that value is tied very closely with desire and motivation. If a person does not find learning important, motivation vanishes. "If ya don't wanna, ya canna!" someone once told me. Without a desire to learn, efforts end & learning stops. Some professors try to create motivation; some think grades and discipline motivate on their own. In the end, though, value must come from inside each person. If a person can learn to master Value, if a person can try to find the importance & significance in all aspects of life . . . that person can learn to enjoy & appreciate everything. & if you could really enjoy everything, wouldn't life be fun every day? You would be, totally, like Sweet Polly all the time. Hmmm . . . well, maybe that's a bit too much . . . . |
