Without Quality, Tito Lands in Jail

Competency is not that hard, really. Think of formal education again.

In college, you only work on thoughts, values, communications, & actions in one small area at a time. In each area (or discipline, or course), your competency (your abilities) will be determined through quality . . .

the quality of your thought . . . the quality of your action.

You see . . . not all thoughts & actions are equal!

If poor Tito had decided that his real problem was those other drivers on the road at 5:30 p.m. . . . that they wouldn't let him by . . . that they didn't respect his need to get to class . . . then his thoughtful decision may have been to GET EVEN WITH THEM . . . TEACH THEM A LESSON!

He may have run red lights.

He may have communicated with profanity & acted with a pistol.

Competency or success in learning involves recognizing Quality: the best thoughts & actions for the situation.
