The first thing that comes to anybody’s mind when traveling would be: “Will I enjoy this place?” or “Will I regret visiting this place?” Many people have different ways of having fun, but I guarantee that Las Vegas, Nevada would enjoy visiting.

There’s no place like Las Vegas, Nevada. From casinos to hotels, restaurants, fancy shows, Adult Entertainment, clubs, and numerous activities, Las Vegas, Nevada is the number 1 spot people would enjoy. From past experience, Las Vegas, Nevada is the place to go. The hotels are luxurious, the casino’s are tremendous, the shows are an A plus, and the night life is fun. The Airfare is not too cheap and the flight is long, but it was worth it.

When I arrived to the Las Vegas, Nevada airport the people were very friendly. Ladies were walking around offering drinks, and slot machines everywhere, even in bathrooms. Las Vegas, Nevada is also know as Sin city because of the temptation to spend money and the fun night life. When you walk into the casino’s, the first thing that people will see would be the grad prizes. When I walked into the MGM grand hotel casino, the grand prize was a 2005 Cadillac CTS. The only way you will win that prize is if you hit the jackpot. Overall I spend $800 in casino’s but it was well worth it because of the $800 I spent I won back $500. Anybody that goes to Las Vegas, Nevada will win.

The hotels in Sin City were tremendous. The MGM grand is a 300 story hotel. The rooms range from $400 - $5,000 a night. The Presidential suits are all the way at the top story, loaded with private elevators, free catering, room service all day, a 25 feet by 10 feet spa, and a 52 inch screen television. On the hotel Loby, of course, is where the casino’s are. When you walk into the MGM Grand, the first thing you will see is a big fountain with laser shows and ladies approaching you asking if you would like a drink.

The night life in Las Vegas, Nevada is like no other. While walking on the strip, you will see people different parts of the world, as well as famous artists. While I was walking on the strip, I saw Steven Seagal, Charles Bronson, and famous comedian, Dennis Miller. The clubs were tremendous, From the music, to the diversity of people. The shows were spectacular. From magic shows to Adult entertainment, Las Vegas, Nevada would be a place people would enjoy.

In conclusion, Las Vegas, Nevada was my favorite spot to relax and have a good time. I guarantee that people will not regret it, Overall, Las Vegas, Nevada is well know as Sin City, but you will be greatfull that you commited sin. Sin City offers a different variety of way to entertain yourself. There is entertainment for both genders and all ages.

Analysis: This essay is representative of a basic passing essay. The essay sticks to the topic well and though pedestrian, the sentence and paragraph structure allow for a clear understanding of the topic. The writing depends on the five paragraph model for direction.

Understand, a basic passing essay has weaknesses, usually issues of control and consistency. Here, the writing lacks control in punctuation, capitalization, pronoun usage, and editing. Since there is a lack of specific details, ideas are often repeated. The writer does have an understanding for the need for details, as can be seen in the Cadillac example.
