Guayaquil, Ecuador is the best place a student should go

In the United States students wait with expectation their vacations. After a long year of studying very hard, they want to enjoy and relax in a beautiful place. Many students spend a long time trying to find the best place to go. The search on the internet, ask their friend, and look magazines to find the right spot. The question that they have in mind is where am I suppose to go this summer? I have the best answer to that question. Guayaquil, Ecuador is the best place a student should go to enjoy his or her vacation because it has many beautiful places to visit.

Guayquil counts with a beautiful beach call Salinas. It is a famous beach, and it is located at only 45 minutes of downtown Guayaquil. Everybody goes to spend their vacations in this beach. the water in Salinas is very clear with big waves. In this beach people do surf contest. Since early in the morning, people go to the beach. Many of them spend the whole day there. At 6 pm, there are many people of all ages watching the sunset. It is amazing!

Also, Guayaquil has a beautiful downtown. Big buildings and a beautiful place call Malecon 2000 are the main attractions in downtown Guayaquil. Malecon 2000 is a historical place. As people walk there, they see big monuments. Each monument has his own history. In this place students are able to learn the story of the city in a interactive way. Malecon 2000 also has a chopping center for those that cannot live without shopping. By the time people are hungry, malecon 2000 offers a huge food court with all kinds of food Chinesse, American, and Ecuatorian.

Finally, as every place in Latin America, Guayaquil has very poor places. It is good for a United States' student to visit these places, so he or she will see how poor people are in other countries. In the United States we have everything we need and want, and we think that everybody in earth live as we live. This is not true. Guayaquil is a good place to show a United State' student the poorness people live in other countries. For example, there is a place call San Vicente. In this place, people live in the edge of the river. Their houses are made of wood, and they do not have basic services such as water and electricity. people in this part of the city spend many days without eating because they do not have money. many years ago, I went to this place with a missionary team that came from the United States. We took medical and spiritual help for this area. It was awsome to see the happiness of these people because of the help we gave them. Poor places in Guayaquil will help student not to take for granted what they have ,and will also help them to understand how blessed they are in their country.

In conclusion, Guayaquil is a beautiful place a student should go to enjoy a vacation time. It has beautiful places to visit, and has poor places that will help him or her to see the reality in the world now a days.
