A preposition: is a word that shows the
relationship of one word (usually a noun or a pronoun) to another word
in the sentence.

Three important rules about a preposition:
- It is invariable.
- Not the same preposition is used in Spanish as in English, or
that a preposition is used in Spanish when used in English (and vice
versa).
- Spanish places preposition within the sentence, or at the beginning
of a question; never at the end of a sentence
