12/06/05      Quiz #10 has been assigned today.  Please do #234 and #258 from the supplemental packet.  This quiz is due on Thursday, December 8th, 2005.  For #234 you will have to set up and integral with an unknown upper limit of integration to solve for.  For more hints on how to do this please refer to section 5.4.  In section 5.4, example #7 and HW problem #45 deal directly with this quiz question.  The solution to #45 is posted on the HW solutions link on this website.  You may confer with others on this problem.  The problem itself is not difficult from a computation standpoint, but you do need to know how to set up the integral and solve for the unknown upper limit of integration.

11/22/05      Quiz #9 has been assigned today.  Please do #204, 223, and 224 for this quiz.  Each question is worth 5 points.  This means that the total number of points for this quiz is 15.  You DO NOT want to miss this quiz since it essentially counts as THREE quiz grades!!!  This quiz is due on Tuesday November 29th, 2005.
