Why study Mathematics?
In our present day technological world, it is easy to see mathematics at work. Many professional and vocational areas - such as the fields of business, statistics, medicine, economics, psychology, finance, computer science, banking, criminal justice, quality control, science, and teaching requires a good understanding of the concepts and skills developed in this course. Those that wants to work in these fields must be able to function at a certain mathematical level. Those who can not will never make it. This course develops in the students many skills that are important in other fields, for example, common sense, observation, inductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, problem solving and many more skills.
