Web for faculty at Valencia College created by
Internet and Instructional
Technologies.
To edit it, you will need Microsoft FrontPage. You
can get a copy of FrontPage by calling the Valencia Help Desk at
extension 5555. You can get help with FrontPage by asking your
Internet and Instructional
Technologies Webmaster, or by using the
Learning FrontPage
website.
This template web contains a main page, called
default.htm, and two folders containing template pages for courses. You
can add more courses by copying a course folder.
The template pages included in the folders are a
syllabus, a schedule, a page for links and a generic page. You can also
copy these pages if you need more.
Each page in this web shares a single navigational
page, called navigation.htm. It is included as a component. To edit the
navigation for the site, just modify the navigation.htm file. To add
the navigation panel to a page that does not have it, choose Insert >
Web Component> Included Content> Page.
You can change your background image by
right-clicking somewhere on the page and choosing "Page Properties".
Select the Background tab, then choose Browse. The backgrounds are in
the Images folder.
