1.      For an upper respiratory infection, what would be the most important patient history information? Example: drugs currently taking

2.      Which Respiratory Meds would you not give to an acute asthmatic patient?

3.      Which meds would you give to an asthma patient?

4.      Know respiratory drugs used for maintenance in an asthmatic patient.

5.      Which OTC drugs would you use for a dry cough?

6.      Know difference between Vanceril and Atrovent.

7.      Know side effects of nasal decongestants.

8.      Know side effects and med contraindications for antihistamines.

9.      Know which OTC to use with thick sticky sputum and a cough.

10.  Know how you would administer Mucomyst for a respiratory illness.

11.  Know how often Albuterol or Theophylline can be used at home before it is not considered therapeutic.

12.  Know side effects of Sudafed. What current illnesses would we be concerned about if we were planning on giving Sudafed to a patient.

13.  Why would blood levels be monitored on a patient taking Theophylline.
