General LO3 Reflection

Over all, completing this learning outcome was very informative to me.  To be honest, I did not know anything about copyright issues.  I created my active learning notes to help students be successful in MAT0024C Beginning Algebra and did not consider any copyright or ownership issues.  The only copyright issue I was concerned with was creating all of my own original work and not to take any material from other resources.  I did not think about my own work.  Learning about Valencia’s copyright issues allowed me to plan for the future.  My goals are to have all of Osceola Campus MAT0024C Beginning Algebra courses use my active learning notes.  Then, I would like to expand to all campuses at Valencia College.  I do not want to make any money off of my active learning notes at Valencia College.  As a future goal, I would consider selling the use of active learning notes to other educational institutions to help students’ learning in Beginning Algebra.  I would like to distribute the active learning notes to as many students as I can because I truly feel this resource helps students become successful in a course where not much success is occurring.
